Because these are debit cards, if your account balance is getting low, you will need to have the merchant run the card for the exact amount left on the card or your card will be denied.  For example, if you only have $25.00 in your account, but your bill is $40.00, you will have to tell the provider to run the Benefits Card for $25.00 and you will have to pay the remaining $15.00 with your own form of payment.
